Cinnamon Snowflakes
If you give a mom a tortilla, she might want to make a snowflake . . .
I’m sure I am not the first person to think of this, but I’m going to pretend I’m that clever for a moment.
I saw this post from Artful Parent about using coffee filters to make snowflakes because they are round, and I got the bright idea that tortillas are also round–and yummy!
Just take the tortilla (I used the 8 in ones) and fold in half and half again as if you were making a paper snowflake. You will want to use fresh tortillas for this so they don’t crumble or microwave them for a few seconds to soften them up.
Next let your little one cut out the snowflake shape with kitchen scissors or clean kid scissors.
Unfold and place on a baking sheet.
Spray with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake until edges are just beginning to brown (375 for about 5 minutes).
Enjoy!
Pickle wanted to eat ours with strawberry jam and orange marmalade. Yum-o!

This is BRILLIANT!!! I can’t wait to try these, they seem easy enough, I have all the ingredients too. This is perfect for our snowflake month projects!
