Weekend Links–December 4, 2010

December 4, 2010

Claude Monet [Public domain], via Wikimedia CommonsIt’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas around here. Just above freezing today at the local Christmas parade. Brrrr!

Two more weeks until school’s out for Christmas break and it can’t come soon enough. This mama is worn out and curriculum planning in low on her list at the moment. I need to get into gear to get ready for next semester sometime soon though.

Here are my favorite finds this week:

I’ve been making some crafts this season and have been greatly inspired by Sew Mama Sew’s Handmade Holiday series. The Ultimate list is here.

We visited Billy Graham’s Christmas at the Library tonight. It was cold and rainy, but still a treat. We missed the library itself, but plan to return after the hustle and bustle.

Design Mom has been hosting a week of unbelievable giveaways. There is one left! Hurry before the contest ends Sunday night.

Adopt a word at Savethewords.org. As a word-lover this is right up my alley.
