Blueberry Applesauce Popsicles

Hello strangers! I fell off the edge of the world for a little while. After this post, I needed to make some changes. We finished up school and are now heading into summer. Hallelujah!

To get a jumpstart on things, we made up these a few weeks ago:

Blueberry Applesauce Popsicles 

1/4-1/2 jar blueberry preserves (seedless)–the one I got actually had a good bit of sugar but you can get them with less (all-fruit or something like that)

1 jar plain, unsweetened applesauce

Mix the two together (experiment with the amount of preserves to taste, you can also try other flavors) The mix is yummy just to eat, but since it is getting hot we decided to freeze it up.

I poured some in plastic cups and put a popsicle craft stick in each. Place in freezer for several hours.

To remove from cup you may need to run outside of cup under water to loosen and melt the edges so the pop will slide out.


Another simple solution would be to just stick a popsicle stick in the lid of any flavor applesauce snack pack and freeze, but this was fun to make anyway!
